Over the past 15 years, Nishant has achieved excellence in varied functions across Corporate Strategy, Finance, Operations, Public Policy and Last-mile implementation.

Currently He oversees multiple divisions at Jindal Steel & Power. He oversees the Global Businesses spread across Asia (ex India), Australia, Africa and Middle East which includes providing strategic direction to the businesses and taking strategic financial decisions like restructuring, mergers & acquisitions, and divestments across these geographies.

He is also the Head of Investor Relations for the Group managing relationships across Equity & Debt markets and leading any debt & equity transactions by the Group in Global markets.

Prior to this, worked with a Member of Parliament in the policy & governance space where Nishant headed a handpicked team of policymakers to support legislation at the Centre & State level, and built a development team to work on grass root implementation, monitoring & governance across 3 districts and more than 1100 villages.

Before that, he worked with Goldman Sachs, in the Equity Research division, across various sectors. In his last role with Goldman Sachs, he was covering the India Oil & Gas sector (more than 25% market capitalization of the Index) and shadow covering Chinese majors.
