Dr. Anand Shrivastav is the Founder & Chairman of Intercorp Group which has interests in biotech, genetics and financial services. He is a Member of Reserve Bank of India (RBI). Financial Inclusion Advisory Committee and Founder Chairman of Business Correspondent Federation of India (BCFI). He serves as a Director on the boards of Skingene, Genesis Biogen, Beam Money, and Social Economic Empowerment Development Foundation (SEED). He is Member of World Bank's Responsible Finance Forum (RFF) and an Advisor of SIDBI’s Technical Advisory Committee of Poorer States Inclusive Growth (PSIG). An entrepreneur, a public service worker, with experience in consumer products, health care, telecom, fintech, digital financial services as well as retail. In the past, Anand has held board positions in several organizations viz. The Homes Stores, Intercorp Biotech, and marketing of PSUs like Kerala State Drugs & Pharmaceuticals and Kerala Soaps & Detergents. He won the 2012 Global Prepaid Award. Anand has co-authored a book on "Microfinance - Emerging Trends & Challenges" along with Prof Sunderesan of Columbia University, as well as authored several articles on Financial Inclusion. Anand attended Harvard University and holds PhD in Financial Inclusion.
