Thokozani Miya is a South African aviation entrepreneur and the founder of Neo Aviation, the country’s first Black-owned air taxi service offering charter flights to over 150 destinations across Southern Africa. With a strong foundation in IT, Thokozani brings extensive experience in cybersecurity, telecommunications, and banking, supported by multiple professional certifications and a degree from Tshwane University of Technology. His entrepreneurial journey began in 2002 with the Sausage Saloon franchise, shaping his belief in persistence, research, and strategic networking as pathways to business success.

A passionate advocate for youth empowerment, Thokozani actively supports skills development, job creation, and mentorship within the aviation and technology ecosystems. He has served as Vice President Membership at the Johannesburg Toastmasters Club and as a mentor in IBM’s business partner internship programme. Through Neo Aviation and his broader leadership, Thokozani Miya continues to drive access, innovation, and opportunity in South Africa’s aviation sector.
