Ramesh thrives on creating/ learning and assessing opportunities in the alternate investments world. Ramesh currently is the Vice Chairman of Business Angel Network of South East Asia( BANSEA) and part of the investment commitee of its different funds. He has advised/invested and mentored start ups across Asia Pacific, Israel and US and has been a speaker in several start up conferences in the region.. Ramesh is also an advisor on public market investing for family offices and emerging hedge funds. Prior to his start-up adventures he led global leadership teams in sales/trading and distribution of multiple asset classes which included instruments like Equity derivatives/ convertibles/arbitrage/special situation for large institutions and hedge funds for Morgan Stanley and Royal Bank of Scotland. Ramesh also spent a career in FMCG/Commodities trading with Pepsico Inc and Britannia Industries prior to his financial services career. He is an MBA from London Business School, Master in International Business from Indian Institute of Foreign Trade and a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from College of Engineering, Guindy, Chennai, India.Ramesh also has a FT Non Executive Director Diploma - Pearson SRF BTEC Level 7 Advanced Professional Diploma.
