Deepak Anniyappa is the General Manager and Global Head of Product Design at Balancehero India, with over 16 years of experience in building and leading high-performing design teams. He currently oversees a global, multidisciplinary design organization, shaping product direction and ensuring alignment between design, business goals, and engineering execution. His expertise lies in driving design-led product strategy, building scalable design systems, and delivering user-centric digital experiences.

Previously, Deepak played a pivotal role at Freecharge, where he helped scale the platform into a full-stack fintech ecosystem, including neo-banking and payment gateway solutions. He also led design initiatives at Rooter Sports Technologies, a platform used by over 10 million sports fans in India. Beyond his corporate roles, Deepak actively mentors designers and product managers, supporting career growth and capability building.
