The expert is an Associate Professor of Data, Technology and Public Policy at Indian School of Business, Hyderabad. Prior to this, he was the Officer on Special Duty at NITI Aayog, the premier policy think-tank of the Government of India, where he was responsible for developing roadmap for use of data, analytics and artificial intelligence for Governance, Policy making and India's inclusive growth and leads efforts towards setting up the first high performance computing based Data Analytics Lab at NITI Aayog. He provided analytical insights for policy making across sectors like Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), Direct Benefit Transfer, Innovation, Digital payments, Healthcare and nutrition, Agriculture, etc. He has been nominated among the "Top 10 Data Scientists in India" in by the Analytics India Magazine and nominated as "LinkedIn Influencer" in the Technology space 4 years ago. The expert has over 17 years of experience across different aspects of data analytics, statistical modelling, data/text mining across companies like IBM, Accenture, Nokia, NASA, Persistent Systems, Zycus, etc. He has also worked with Accenture Consulting in Singapore, where he contributed to various data and analytics related engagements with Singapore Government, like efficient reporting and resolution of municipal issues, evaluation and monitoring of secondary school education, improving operational efficiency in immigration and customs.
