This expert has developed low cost technology for cleaning up rivers and lakes, without need for boats, energy fuel. This is now commercially deployed in 8 cities and has stopped over 2200 tons of plastics from reaching the oceans in one year, making it the most successful solution anywhere to stop plastics from reaching the ocean. 

He has also developed new technologies in the area of harnessing ocean wave energy and maritime security besides urban flood relief. One of the recent innovations is hydraulic robots to clean crude oil tanks without need forman entry. A veteran captain of large oil tankers of the merchant Navy, he has spoken at many seminars and written articles in various trade magazines. A passionate innovator, he has studied Finance Management at Singapore and EGMP at IIM Bangalore. He is the founding director of AlphaMERS Ltd and Beta Tank Robotics Pvt Ltd.
