Buwaneka De Silva is one of the Co-Members of the first Facebook Developer Circle in Sri Lanka. He previously worked as Deputy Chairman and Executive Director for Sustainable Education Foundation, which is working towards empowering students in Sri Lanka, and was responsible for creating operations strategy and policies and overseeing human resource management there. Buwaneka?s area of focus includes product development and strategy, design thinking and project management. He is an alumnus of the Cardiff Metropolitan University and Pearson College London, and was also a Microsoft Student Partner, where he helped Microsoft build communities on their campus and share their deep knowledge and passion for technology with their fellow classmates.
