Catherine is an evangelist for data and analytics literacy at economy, organisational and individual levels. She is the founder of DNA Capitals which drives competitive advantage for organisations in all industries through taking full advantage of the opportunities which arise from digitisation and big data. In 2021, she received the prestigious SkillsFuture Fellowships award from President Halimah Yaacob.

She is passionate about equipping employees with digital and data literacy as well as technical skills, to prepare them for the Future of Work. Building on her passions in data analytics and nurturing tech talents, she embarks on developing a human capital platform which aims to help organisations to redesign jobs and roles to meet the demands of the new digital economy. This talent development platform identifies competency gaps, analyses learning needs and redefines job roles based on technical competencies and critical core skills from Skills Framework and proprietary behavioural assessments.

Currently, she is the Deputy General Secretary of Tech Talent Assembly (TTAB) association which nurtures tech talents for lifelong employability, learning and sharing. She is also an ICT advisory committee in Ngee Ann Polytechnic as well as a volunteer Career Advisor with Workforce Singapore. Previously, she was the Practice Chief of Analytics & Intelligent System at NUS Institute of Systems Science (NUS-ISS), where she imparted her experience and knowledge to graduate students, business leaders and ICT practitioners. She also served as an adjunct lecturer and a coach to NUS ISS & SCALE students and short course participants. She was formerly the Worldwide Sales Predictive and Business Intelligence (BI) Lead in Cisco Systems and Data Strategist at IBM Greater China.
