Kalki Subramaniam is a globally recognized transgender rights activist, artist, writer, and inclusion educator with over 16 years of advocacy and public engagement experience. She is the founder of the Sahodari Foundation, one of India’s leading organizations working for transgender empowerment through education, policy advocacy, and art-based interventions.

Kalki has played a significant role in shaping public discourse around gender identity in India and was among the prominent voices associated with the 2014 Supreme Court recognition of transgender rights. She has delivered sensitization and leadership programs for institutions including Google, Harvard, Yale, and Warner Bros Discovery, impacting students and professionals worldwide.
