Bhaskarjit Sarmah is the Head of AI Research for Financial Services at Domyn, where he leads the development of enterprise AI solutions for the financial industry. His work focuses on Generative AI, Agentic AI, Knowledge Graphs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI safety, and trustworthy AI systems.

Previously, he spent over six years at BlackRock, where he founded and led the RQA AI Labs team, developing AI-driven solutions for investment risk management and market intelligence. He has extensive experience building enterprise AI applications across portfolio management, risk management, document intelligence, and regulatory compliance.

Bhaskarjit is an active researcher, speaker, and educator with publications in financial AI and trustworthy AI. His research interests include hybrid RAG, AI evaluation, explainable AI, and responsible AI. He regularly speaks at international conferences and teaches industry and university courses on Generative AI, Agentic AI, and enterprise AI systems.
