Led Mahindra Lifespace’s Integrated Cities & Industrial Clusters (IC&IC) business as CEO & Business Head – Mahindra World City, Jaipur and Board Director at 3 other companies  managing 2 Joint Venture Investment Platforms with International Finance Corporation (IFC) and Sumitomo Corporation. His leadership & passion positioned the business at the vanguard of Make in India, economic development, and Sustainability benchmark on global map during his tenure.

Transformation & scale creation for Tata Communications’ as its VP & Global Head, Product & Marketing (Enterprise Business) and then at Tata Teleservices’ Enterprise Business.

Significant new businesses’ creation for CRISIL, a Standard & Poor’s company. He helped contribute in a series of India firsts including erstwhile S&P-CRISIL-NSE JV for Nifty & Industry indices, global information tie-ups with Bloomberg Inc, etc.

He has championed and co-led various initiatives for India as a destination of choice for over 2 decades: earlier for IT/ ITES Services and now for “Make in India” collaborating closely with various stakeholders including Ministry of Commerce & Industry, CII, FICCI & other industry bodies, Invest India, etc. in various capacities. He has led state delegation to the Hanover Messe as Session Chairperson for Make in India. 

Sanjay has completed his global executive education for Senior Management at Harvard Business School and Stephen M Ross Business School, Chicago while being at Mahindra Group and Tata Group respectively. He is a B. Tech (Computer Science) and a Management Graduate from IIM Calcutta.

Sanjay has won many accolades including being felicitated as India’s Most Admired Leader for “Business Transformation and Make in India.”
