The expert is a Senior Management Professional at Apollo Hospitals and Group (AHG). AHG is the largest integrated healthcare provider in India with 9000 hospital beds across 70 hospitals. He established the division of paediatric gastroenterology and hepatology 22 years ago at Apollo Hospital, Delhi (the first in the private sector in India). He helped set up the first successful liver transplant program in India 20 years ago at Apollo Hospitals, Delhi. The Apollo Transplant Program has been the busiest transplant program in the world since 2012. He is an Honorary Clinical Professor at Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia in May 2015.
