Cracking the Agility Code for CEOs, executives and managers of small-to-medium sized and fast-moving enterprises, I bring a unique combination of insights at the intersection of my agility experiences in 3 worlds:

In the Real World:  I started my career as a Petroleum Engineer with Shell International working on onshore and offshore oil & gas drilling rigs.   Now, I love studying other everyday agile leaders in the real world who also face the agility challenge everyday (fighter pilots, special forces, fire fighters and others), often with life and death consequences, to understand their secrets.

In the business world:  After an MBA at London Business School, I joined the Aerospace Industry as a Program Manager of complex projects, became an Executive and CEO of multiple small to-medium-sized businesses and ended up running the Aerospace Division of a British Public Company, Spirent plc.  Now, I love working with a diversity of businesses across a diversity of industries.

In the advisory world:  I then went independent for nearly 20 years already, as an author, keynote speaker, facilitator, coach and board member, including 15 years as a CEO peer group chair and speaker with Vistage Worldwide for small-to-medium sized enterprise CEOs and Executives.  I had more than 300 members and facilitated more than 500 group meetings and 2000 one-to-one coaching sessions.  I spoke to more than 400 groups comprising 5000 members in 5 countries and was acknowledged as the thought leading agility expert for the global community of more than 20,000 small-to-medium-sized business members.

I interpret the secrets of everyday agile leaders in the real world, translate them into terms relevant to the business world and facilitate CEOs, executives and their teams to develop their enterprise agility in the advisory world. I am provocative, profound and practical, developing agile mindsets, skillsets and tool sets and revealing the myths, mysteries and magic of agility.

I published my first book in 2011 entitled, "Wheel$pin:  The Agile Executive's Manifesto" asking the question, "Why, despite all of our investments in our businesses  (you name it, we do it), do we still experience a lot more Wheel$pin than we should?"  The answer: agility or rather a lack of agility.  Or rather, a lack of understanding of the whole challenge, the whole problem and the whole solution of Agility, which is a complex operating system that most people over simplify.

My second book is a work in progress entitled, "The 5 Roles of Everyday Agile Leaders: Cracking the Agility Code for CEOs, Executives & Managers of Small to Medium Sized Enterprises" asking the question, "Why, despite all of the Agile inspiration and insights we are now surrounded by, does Enterprise Agility remain as elusive as it has ever been for most leaders?"  The answer:  The Agility Code, or rather the unbroken Agility Code.  Or rather, a lack of understanding of the keys to unlock Agility beliefs, behaviors and results, enterprise wide and enterprise deep, and the reasons why only a minority can and the majority can’t. 

I offer a unique topic, The 5 Roles of Everyday Agile Leaders to help CEOs, executives and managers understand who they need to be in the equation of their enterprise agility, in particular with the challenges of running small-to-medium sized and fast-moving businesses.  I introduce them to The 5 Attributes of Agility to Change Your Relationship With and the bottom line of what I call Agile C2C:  Conversation-Flow to Cash-Flow.  I outline The 5 Steps to an Agility Operating System.

I was an award winning Master Chair with Vistage Worldwide.  I was a certified Dale Carnegie Instructor and helped Online Trading Academy win the coveted Dale Carnegie International Leadership Award in 2019.

I joined Online Trading Academy as President & Chief Agility Officer in November 2018 to have a capstone agility experience on my career of agile innovation, agile entrepreneurship and agile leadership.  With everything we have been through since, it exceeded my hopes and expectations!  It has been a case study of how community, culture and a core-value of love have conquered all, allowing us to dig deep to find the resilience and enterprise agility we needed.  Online Trading Academy is a world leading educator of individual retail traders and investors.  We are leading entrepreneurs and innovators of award winning Edtech and Fintech products and services, for over 2 decades and having served over 80,000 students globally so far with lifelong education.  Our franchisee operates in India as Sharekhan Education by BNP PARIBAS and we also have franchisees in Dubai and Singapore.

Integral to my agility topic, I can speak aboout Online Trading Academy from multiple angles:  1) as a real-time agility case-study, amongst many others that I use when speaking about enterprise agility.  2) using the metphor of share-price to explian some of the core concepts of agility.  3) talking about the trading and investing landscape, the misconceptions of retail traders and investors and a vision for the future possibilities we see as a thought leading revolutionary innovator.

I am able to have an eye-level conversation with CEOs, executives and managers, holding them accountable to step up as agile leaders, having fun in the process, laced with a little English accent and sense of humor!  I am English originally, American now, living in the beautiful Temecula Valley wine district of southern California.
