Kavita started her career in India?s fledgling Information Technology  (IT) industry as a software professional after completing her MBA from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune India in 1984. Her career experiences now span 35 years of experience in Software Development, Project Management, Process Improvement & Consulting across various IT & IT Consulting organizations.

Kavita is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) who now trains and facilitates the necessary PMI-PMP Preparation (Contact Training) Course. She has trained over 7000 PMP aspirants for the PMP Contact program. She has successfully developed and taught this course since 2002 till date.

She has developed & conducted this course repeatedly in China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Manila, Penang, Kuala Lumpur, Africa, Middle East and all over India to an excellent feedback.

In addition, she has provided process improvement consulting & trainings in Singapore, Malaysia, Mainland China, Philippines, India, Oman, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Japan etc.

She has conducted numerous public and in-house trainings on Project Management, Work Breakdown Structure, Making Project Managers, Risk Management, Subcontractor Management, Process Writing, Software Internal Auditor Training, Peer Reviews, and Software Quality. Her training feedback has consistently been rated high and has been positively praised.

She worked at Citibank in Tokyo where she was part of the Software Process Engineering Group assisting the division towards a CMM Level 4 certification.

Kavita eventually transitioned from a software developer in the IT industry through many responsibilities into a project management / process consultant. She was part of the Software Quality Assurance (SQA) team at IBM Global Services for driving the organizational processes and their compliance for CMM Level 4 and 5. She also worked at IBM, as a Project Manager in the Banking Finance & Securities Department for a client in Canada, and received her PMP credential during this period.

Kavita is a resident of Bangalore, India and traveled to South East Asia and other parts of the world frequently to perform consulting and training assignments.

Kavita served as a Senior Consultant and Lead for the Project Management Suite of Services at Processworks Group, a Singapore & Bangalore based company.

She now operates a Bangalore-based business organization Managementoring Services which also facilitates a 60 hour PMI-PMP-prep Contact Training Course for the PMBOK 6th edition (15 modules @ 4 hours each of class time with pre-and-post class assignment evaluation & explanation for 80-100 Questions per PMBOK knowledge area), besides other courses related to project management.
