Vijay A. Patel, MD is a Clinical Instructor at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He is currently completing his fellowship in Rhinology and Cranial Base Surgery at UPMC and will be following with a second fellowship in Pediatric Otolaryngology at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. His interests include adult and pediatric cranial base surgery, COVID-19, balloon sinuplasty, sinonasal disorders, surgical outcomes, cost analysis, and quality improvement metrics in otolaryngology. He has over 50 publications in the field of otolaryngology and 50 regional as well as national presentations in the field of head and neck surgery.
