Somesh Kamra is a professional mixed martial artist specializing in Muay Thai, an entrepreneur, a media personality, and a sports columnist.
Somesh began his professional journey as a Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) coach to a few renowned names in Bollywood and the business world. Additionally, he designed many effective training programs for Police Academy, the premier civil service training institution in India. In 2016, he launched India’s premier MMA Fitness Gym – Superhuman Gym, home to some of the top combat sports athletes in the country. In 2018, as the CEO of Kumite 1 League, he invited Mike Tyson, former heavyweight boxing world champion, to India.

Somesh has played an instrumental role in educating Indians about MMA. To promote MMA in India, he works closely with UFC, the world's largest MMA organization. He serves as the panellist for the TV Show – The Ultimate Guide to UFC and Pit Stop on Sony Sports Network. He runs India’s first combat podcast – The Fighting G.O.A.T produced exclusively by the IVM Podcast Network. Besides, he writes a guest column on combat sports articles in Spogo News.

Somesh is educated from the University of Gold's Gym in physical fitness, including strength training, plyometrics & cardiovascular training for muscular conditioning. Besides, he earned his specialization in MMA from Russia.
