Prabir Jha is a distinguished alumnus of XLRI Jamshedpur, is the Founder & CEO of Prabir Jha People Advisory. Before starting his firm, he was the President & Global Chief People Officer at the pharma major, Cipla.

After his stint as a civil servant in his first avatar, Prabir served as the Global CHRO at two Indian majors, Dr.Reddy’s and Tata Motors before moving to lead HR at Reliance Industries Ltd.  Prabir has handled all branches of HR, be it Transformation, Talent Management, OD interventions, Global HR Strategy, or any other.

Mr. Jha has featured in the ‘List of Most Admired HR Professionals in India’. He is the recipient of the National Institute of Personnel Management (NIPM) Medal, the Reckitt & Colman Award, the Citibank Leaders Award at XLRI, and the Director’s Medal in the Civil Services Foundation Course. He was conferred with the Asia HRD Award in 2012. 

Prabir is widely recognized as a transformation guru and an accomplished thought leader. He is a sought-after speaker, executive coach, and a visiting faculty at various B-schools and institutes. He sits on the HR Advisory Board of the RBI and has been on the Board in the Tata Cipla Group.
