Major Devender Pal Singh is a young major who was grievously injured in Kargil during Operation Vijay after which one of his legs was amputated. Today, that same soldier has run 12 half marathons, an accomplishment as miraculous as it is inspirational. He is popularly called as \'Indian Blade Runner? and is the first amputee marathon runner of India besides holding several laurels including being a Limca record holder.
