Isabelle Mierau is the founder of Space Debris DAO, an initiative advancing a sustainable space economy. She co-founded the Institute for Legal Transformation, where she developed and delivered keynotes, workshops, and governmental trainings, including for Abu Dhabi’s Junior Legislators. Isabelle has spoken at global institutions such as ADEO (UAE), Hong Kong University, the European Space Agency (ESA), Caesars Forum (USA, AIAA), and various international conferences.

With a B.Sc. in Psychology and Sociology, she furthered her education in International Relations, Peace and Conflict Research, Blockchain Technology, and Strategic Foresight. Her contributions to the space sector include work on ESA’s Zero Debris Charter and Technical Handbook.

Beyond space, Isabelle has actively participated in human rights missions as a rescue boat driver and captain of a human rights observation vessel with Sea-Watch and Mare Liberum—merging social justice and innovation in everything she leads.
