Darwin Rivers is a highly accomplished coach with over 20 years of progressive leadership and management experience in the BPO/IT/Shared Services industries. He has held positions in both Operations Management and Human Capital Management, demonstrating his expertise in these areas. Darwin has extensive experience in setting up HR departments for start-up companies, both locally and internationally. He has also worked closely with Regional HR points of contact across the United States, Canada, EMEA, and the Asia-Pacific region.

One of Darwin's notable achievements is being the Founder and President of the Philippines HR Group, which is the largest online community of HR professionals in the country, boasting more than 300,000 members as of May 2023. Additionally, he is the Founder and CEO of PHILHRG Inc., a non-profit organization that aims to advance the HR profession in the Philippines. As a motivational speaker, resource person, public speaker, and blogger, Darwin has shared his insights and knowledge with various audiences. He has been featured in prominent media outlets such as CNN, ABS-CBN, GMA 7, Inquirer, Philippine Star, Manila Bulletin, Rappler, and Esquire Magazine.

Currently, Darwin holds the position of VP-HR for Global HR Operations at a global BPO company. He is a multi-awarded HR executive with extensive experience in the BPO/Shared Services/IT industries. He has also gained exposure in diverse sectors including F&B, Architecture/Engineering, IT, Pharmaceutical, Insurance (Life & Health and Non-Life), and Events Management. Darwin possesses a range of certifications and qualifications, including Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP), Certified Professional Manager (CPM), Certified Life Coach (CLC), and Six-Sigma Champion (Green Belt Certification). He holds a diploma in Industrial Relations from UP-SOLAIR and has expertise in recruitment and sourcing, re-engineering, employee relations, labor relations, organizational development, training and development, performance management, and crisis management.

With excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others, Darwin is accustomed to fast-paced environments. He has managed teams of over 30 people and handled HR-related concerns for a wide range of employee numbers, ranging from 200 to 30,000. Darwin is an active member of various local and international HR organizations and associations/networks. He is also involved in community service, church-based organizations, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs). He previously served as a Representative in the National Youth Parliament for the Working Youth Sector.

Furthermore, Darwin is the Founder Chairman and Executive President of the Philippines HR Group, a registered non-profit and non-stock organization that has amassed more than 285,000 members as of 2022.
