Sawkar is a High Performing Executive with consistent career history of driving explosive growth, opening multimillion-dollar accounts, and engaging new Channels. Prior to assuming the position of the President of Kyndryl India, he was the General Manager, Global Technology Services, IBM India/South Asia with an established record in the APAC region of successfully helping customers address their most important business challenges. Sawkar also led the transformation of IBM Global Technology Services in India/South Asia, establishing it into a next-generation services value integrator. As part of this charter, he helped expand the customer portfolio into 17 industries, beyond the telecommunications sector.

Sawkar comes with experience in business management, global strategy, sales and marketing experience in senior leadership positions across product and services portfolio in India, ASEAN and Growth Markets. He have also held the position of strategy executive for growth markets based out of the IBM corporate headquarters in Armonk.
