Jonny is an elite endurance athlete, explorer, and stroke survivor who became the first person with a disability to ski solo to the South Pole. After suffering a stroke while serving as an Army officer—leaving him paralyzed on his left side—Jonny underwent intensive rehabilitation before entering elite sport, representing Great Britain as a para cross-country skier. In his most demanding expedition, Jonny skied 911km over 46 days across Antarctica, enduring -40°C temperatures, high winds, and crevasses while pulling a 100kg sled for 11 hours a day. A sports scientist specializing in psychophysiology, cognition, and nutrition, Jonny now helps others build resilience, pursue ambitious goals, and optimize performance. His story is a powerful testament to the limits of human endurance and the mindset required to overcome adversity.
