I am seasoned professional in the Metals and Mining industry having more than 11 years of rich experience in Tata Steel, one of the top 10 steel producers of the world, where I have worked & led various functions like Project management, Operations & Supply Chain Management, Export promotion, Capability building, etc

In my current role as Business Head, I am leading a new business venture in a strategically important segment. The business was incubated as a start-up and is now poised to grow into a multibillion-dollar revenue-generating venture, thereby securing the strategically important raw material for the future. It is an Entrepreneurial role wherein I am leading the team to create a profitable business model & a Go-To-Market strategy.    

Earlier in my role, I have successfully handled complex joint venture projects with Nippon Steel Corporation, Japan which gave me the unique opportunity to engage in high-level business discussions with leaders of the industry. I have handled business development for flat products in South East Asia and Indian auto manufacturers like Suzuki, Honda, and Toyota which gave me invaluable global strategy experience. My hands-on experience of the turn-around of various underperforming production units gave me an opportunity to solve the most complex manufacturing challenges.
