In 2016, Aga embarked on building a technology care platform from scratch. There was no other entrant in to this sector, where IoT devices were integrated on to a single agnostic platform to collect data to be analysed with machine learning and artificial intelligence. The aim of the technology is to allow seniors and people with disabilities to age in place longer.
By utilising technology, we are now able to help seniors and their families with preventative care by identifying changes in daily patterns that might indicate that an early intervention may be warranted. Aga has worked with Singaporean Universities and their alumni and various aged care volunteer groups to roll out intelligent homes to test, validate and enhance the platform.
The platform was recently nominated for the Aging in Asia Innovation Award in 2019. With the successful launch of the platform in 2017 Aga was instrumental in taking the company to IPO in Australia in late 2018 in less than 2 years from commencing (ASX:HSC).
In recognition of the work Aga has done, he was invited and accepted as a Council Member to the National University Singapore Medicine International Council. The council is an exclusive membership of individuals who have been recognised for their contribution to their industry as well as their generosity to medical research. The council is trying to address some of the greatest challenges of our time, including healthcare, public health policy, research in cancer, diabetes and other chronic diseases.
Today Aga is the founder and CEO of Futuris Solutions. Over the last few years Aga has been working with clients in healthcare technology. This has included advisory in helping with digital transformation, product design for both medically grade and non medically graded devices and advance data analytics.
