Legend had it that, whichever army Sun Tzu advised never lost.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Once,\u00a0the King of Wu asked Sun Tzu to prove his theory of managing soldiers on 180 women. Sun Tzu agreed. Sun Tzu asked them to stand in two groups. The Kings favourite concubines were heading the two groups.All the women were given spears to hold in their hand. He told that they would be given certain commands (moving \u2013 back, front, left, right) which they should obey. The women agreed. The drums sounded and Sun Tzu loudly commanded \u201cRight turn\u201d. To this the women suddenly burst out laughing. Sun Tzu said aloud, \u201cIf the instructions are not clear and not understood, then the General is to blame.\u201d He then continued and repeated the orders carefully.\u00a0 Again the women laughed. Sun Tzu then said, \u201cIf the commands are clear, but the orders not followed, then the officers are at fault. Saying this he ordered\u00a0the officers to be beheaded. The king, who was watching, sent down a message that he was satisfied with the general\u2019s abilities\u00a0to manage the troops. The king did not desire his favourite concubines to be beheaded.<\/em><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Sun Tzu said, \u201cHaving received the sovereign\u2019s commission\u00a0to take charge and direct troops, there are certain orders I cannot accept\u201d. Saying this he beheaded the two concubines. Thereafter he again started to command the women. This time the drill was performed in perfect discipline and precision. Then the General turned to the King and said, \u201cYour majesty, your troops are ready for inspection. You may choose to put them through fire and water and they will not disobey\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">When\u00a0faced\u00a0with an impossible situation, you may draw inspiration from any of\u00a0 principles used by him.\u00a0<strong>The\u00a0art of war will teach\u00a0you \u00a0how to use\u00a0 organizational ability, teamwork, tactical cunning &amp; strategy\u00a0 to overcome &amp; conquer.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h1 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Important Principles<\/h1>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Before the war<\/strong><\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>\u201cIf you know yourself and know your enemy, there is no fear in a hundred battles. If you\u00a0know yourself but don\u2019t know your enemy, the odds are even. Gather information about his weakness &amp; strength via research. Comprehend the exact cause of the problem. Understanding the problem gives the solution.<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Know your\u00a0Self:<\/strong> Know your \u00a0attributes &amp; handicaps. Gain stock\u00a0of your resources.<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Win the war without fighting:<\/strong> If you can avoid the battle by negotiation lt\u2019s the best thing to do. Battle should not be based on instinct, anger or envy. Ask not what the enemy shall refuse, but ask what the enemy can give. Be soft yet not yielding, be firm yet not hard.<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Organize your team \u2013 Command in Control:<\/strong> A hierarchy of command &amp; reporting should be established. The specific areas of responsibility are allotted to members with aptitude &amp; talents in that area.<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>During the war<\/strong><\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\">\r\n<li><strong>Attack at the right Angle:<\/strong> Use your best strengths at the opponents\u00a0\u00a0 or problems weakest point of problem.<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Attack at the right Level:<\/strong> Act at appropriate LEVEL of hierarchy, from above or below, whichever is vulnerable.<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Attack from right Position:<\/strong> Correct your position (Power, finances, status&amp; relations) before attack. Tap you\u2019re resources of power &amp; keep them on standby.<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Attack with Force regulation \u2013 i.e use the right amount of Force:<\/strong> Use minimum amount of Force\u00a0to produce average result.<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>After the war<\/strong><\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\">\r\n<li><strong>Secure the victory:<\/strong> Make sure that the objective or goal is attained &amp; the loot is secured by your team.<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Share the booty:<\/strong> Each &amp; every team member must gain from the victory, not just the leaders. This shall ensure the fidelity, trust, gratitude of the team for future battles<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Reinforce the victory:<\/strong> Establish a base in the conquered enemy territory.
