My hubby is Indian Army Pioneer Major Deepak Rao, one of the only 5 people to be knighted by President of India since independence along with MS Dhoni, Sachin Tendulkar, Kapil Dev and Abhinav Bindra. My adopted daughter is a pro MMA cage fighter, one of the few women in the world to have defeated a man in Germany. But I am not just somebody\u2019s daughter, somebody\u2019s wife or somebody\u2019s mother. <\/em><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><em>I am <strong>Dr. Seema Rao<\/strong>, a woman in her own right, achieving in a men\u2019s world. My world is the camouflaged arena of blood, sweat and grit. I am <strong>India\u2019s only woman commando trainer<\/strong>. I trained <strong>20,000 commandos<\/strong> from every elite special for 20 years without compensation.<\/em><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><em>I have faced all the usual problems faced by women and even more. I was ousted by my in-laws, shunned by my parents and boycotted by society for entering a men\u2019s domain. I have lived in poverty in chawl, rode a 2nd hand scooter and even had to sell my mangalsutra for my husband\u2019s retinal surgery. <\/em><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><em>My vocation was physically demanding, involved travelling to hostile locations such as freezing mountains, scorching desert, dense jungles and steep altitudes. I did not give up despite head injury, memory loss and vertebral fracture. I was shot in the Kashmir valley by terrorists. <\/em><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><em>I helped the Indian forces in modernization of close quarter battle training winning 3 Army chief citations and more than 1000 trophies and felicitations from Indian forces.<\/em><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The only difference between a <strong>woman<\/strong> and a <strong>man<\/strong> is that<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">man is born out of a woman but woman cannot be born out of a man.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">A woman has all the traits of a man and even more. She has <strong>compassion<\/strong>, <strong>adaptibility<\/strong> and <strong>humility<\/strong>. These traits were imbibed in her to support her man when he is helpless, hopeless and mindless!! <strong><em>So woman is WO plus MAN made to woo man, comfort him and stand as equal partner to him in all the games of life.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">In all Stages of her life, woman needs to be made aware of her hidden strengths and ability. She can be empowered by simply uncovering the pre-existent latent powers present in her being.<\/p>\n<!-- Quick Adsense WordPress Plugin: http:\/\/quickadsense.com\/ -->\n<div class=\"fff31b069dab2d4baa9938924ee8e97c\" data-index=\"2\" style=\"float: left; margin: 10px 10px 10px 0;\">\n<script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script>\r\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\r\n    style=\"display:block; text-align:center;\"\r\n    data-ad-layout=\"in-article\"\r\n    data-ad-format=\"fluid\"\r\n    data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-8586106947150931\"\r\n    data-ad-slot=\"5455236699\"><\/ins>\r\n<script>\r\n    (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script>\n<\/div>\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\" style=\"text-align: left;\">\r\n<li><strong>As a child in school,<\/strong>\u00a0we must teach the girl child that sports are as important as academics.<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>As a teenager in college,<\/strong>\u00a0we must implore our girls to finish graduation, if not more.<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>As an adult, <\/strong>vocation is important.\u00a0Girls have to explore their aptitude and move in direction of their talents.<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>As a working woman,<\/strong> we must aim for the top slot and not settle for lower potentials.<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>As a girlfriend,<\/strong> defy inherent possessiveness and paranoia of suspicion which can wreck your life. <em>Check your man out before marriage, even in an arranged marriage, by meeting enough.<\/em> Anger spells possessiveness, male chauvinistic attitudes are bad indicators, as is spendthriftness and excessive demands.<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>In marriage,<\/strong> say no to dowry and yes to bilateral spending.<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>As a wife,<\/strong> demand to work and stand independently.<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>As a daughter in law,<\/strong> win over your mother-in-law with love, understanding and cooperation. Remember, It is her world that you are trying to change.<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>As a mother,<\/strong> show your daughter a world beyond home.
